Membership Details:

  • Access to studio 7 days a week (16hr/day) between 8am-12am

  • Access to industrial slab roller (36in Wide x 6ft Long)

  • Access to Pottery Wheels

  • Access to Extruder

  • Access to Communal work spaces

  • Access to Studio glazes

  • Discounted firing rates (20+% off)

  • 10% off all MTC classes

  • Option to display up to 6 pieces in retail store

  • Ample storage / shelf space

Not included:

  • Firing costs

  • Basic tools

    • Purchase your own most commonly used tools

  • Guest passes 

    • Guests are allowed with purchase of hourly use pass for $15/hr. Member must be present during guest visit.

  • Clay

    • Can be purchased from MTC or from your local clay store.

  • Damage to kiln

    • Damage to kiln or furniture due to glaze or clay issues has a minimum charge of $50 for cleaning / replacement of furniture & kiln maintenance.

  • One time setup fee: $50

  • Monthly Membership fee: $220

    • Includes One 2ft x 4ft x 2ft shelf

Firing Fees: (Discounted rates shown)

  • Cone 04 Bisque firing:

    • $8/sq ft

    • +$2 per item over 9" tall and under 12"

    • +$6 per item over 12" wide/tall and under 18"

    • +$9 per item over 18” wide/tall

    • Maximum width or height for items fired, 20”

    • Whole kiln private firing rental $55

  • Cone 6 Glaze firing:

    • $12/sq ft

    • +$4 per item over 9" tall and under 12"

    • +$8 per item over 12" wide/tall and under 18"

    • +$12 per item over 18” wide/tall

    • Maximum width or height for items fired, 20”

    • Whole kiln private firing rental $80

Requirements:

  • 18yo or older

  • Must have taken at least one 3wk+ pottery class at MTC or another ceramic studio, post High School

  • Can work independently without instruction

  • If using glazes not supplied by MTC, must be able to be fired safely within our kilns

  • Must CLEAN UP! after use of any space or equipment

  • Must respect other member’s work, space, and time.
